Born from the Field
AltaSpecs was founded by construction industry veterans who spent years manually comparing subcontractor bids in Excel spreadsheets. We lived the pain of late nights, missed exclusions, and the sinking feeling of discovering a scope gap after the contract was signed.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built it.
Today, AltaSpecs uses AI and machine learning to read, structure, and compare subcontractor bids in minutes instead of hours. We catch the exclusions human eyes miss and flag the scope gaps before they become change orders.
